Livewise Pty Ltd (ABN 89 155 092 096), trading as Wild Chiropractic, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and our clinic, why we collect it, how we use, store and share it, and how you can access or correct it. It applies to wildchiropractic.com.au and to the personal and health information we hold about our patients, enquirers and website visitors. As a health service provider, we handle your information under the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988, regardless of our size.
We collect two kinds of information. Personal information includes your name, email address, phone number and any message or notes you choose to share with us. Health information includes details about your symptoms, history and care that you share with us as a patient or prospective patient. Health information is sensitive information under the Privacy Act, and we handle it with extra care.
We collect information when you fill in a form on this website, including the contact, gift offer, event registration or advertising landing page forms; when you book an appointment through GoRendezvous; when you visit us in person or call the clinic; and when you become a patient and we record your consultation, examination and care in ChiroSoft, our clinic's patient management system. We also collect some information automatically through the website, such as which pages you view and how you arrived at the site, described under Cookies and analytics below.
We use your information to respond to enquiries and confirm bookings, provide chiropractic assessment and care and keep an accurate patient record, send appointment reminders and follow-up communications, send the Wild Quarterly newsletter or event information if you have opted in, understand how people use our website so we can improve it, and protect our forms from spam and abuse. We do not use your health information for marketing without your consent.
We share information with the service providers who help us run the clinic and the website, each under their own privacy and security obligations. This includes ChiroSoft, where your clinical record is held; GoRendezvous, for online booking; GoHighLevel, for appointment reminders and newsletter or follow-up communications you have opted into; Webflow, who host this website and its forms; and Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google reCAPTCHA, for website analytics, advertising measurement and spam protection. We only share health information with other health professionals when it is needed for your care, such as a referral, and only with your consent unless the law requires or allows otherwise. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Some of the providers listed above store or process information on servers located outside Australia, including the United States. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that your information continues to be handled in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Our website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand visits and measure advertising performance. These tools can place cookies in your browser and may use identifiers such as a Google click ID or campaign parameters carried in the page address. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, and adjust ad personalisation through your Google Account settings.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information we hold, including access controls on our systems and secure hosting for the website and its forms. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We do not use automated decision-making to make decisions about you that carry a legal or otherwise significant effect. Google reCAPTCHA screens form submissions for spam only, it does not make decisions about your care or your eligibility for any service.
You can ask to see the personal or health information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting Matt Hamilton at health@wildchiropractic.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days, and will explain our reasons if we are unable to give you full access.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
If you believe we have mishandled your personal or health information, contact Matt Hamilton at health@wildchiropractic.com.au first, so we can look into it directly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
